Ricky and his team did an outstanding job on my front planting bed. It needed to be leveled out deeper and new weed barrier installed as well as mulch in the whole area. He also trimmed my small boxwoods and worked with his team to put in low garden fencing around the bed. They also trimmed shrubs in my back yard and cleaned up the weeds., leaving both areas beautiful. I would highly recommend this company and really appreciate their work and extra effort to make the customer happy.

From tree/stump removals to creating a water drainage system redirecting heavy rain-water downpours to the storm sewer, Ricky listened to the situation, provided the plan, and had his talented crew install it. All at a reasonable cost. His mulching work and mowing crews are top notch as well.

Our house recently sold very quickly and I know our gardens and lawn helped it move. A comment during a showing was "Love the grass. Very lush!" I know nothing about plants or gardening but I do know to hire people who do. Ricky's Lawn and Landscaping took care of our house for several years. Weekly cutting and biannual garden spruce-ups and maintenance. They made it very easy to do and their top service was not expensive. Ricky and his crew did an excellent job removing an old walkway and replacing with a new walkway using Nicolock pavers. They also extended a French drain partially using one with a larger width. Very happy with the results.

I live abroad and contacted Ricky's Lawn Service to do a massive leaf removeable from my brothers front and back yard. My brother is being treated for cancer and not able to care for his garden and was stressed about it. Ricky's workers did a fabulous and thorough job, extremely resonably priced, and made it so easy for me to pay them. I cannot thank them enough for their help. Ricky is awesome. We were able to find the flagstone we needed during Covid which is awesome as supply is low right now. Him and his guys were able to achieve the exact vision we had for our backyard. I would even say Ricky and his guys exceeded our expectations. We are so happy with his work. Ricky’s Lawn and Landscaping is one of the best companies that I’ve ever hired. Ricky is a true professional who is very responsive to communication and offers a variety of solid solutions to landscaping issues. His prices are extremely reasonable and his quotes are accurate. Ricky’s team shows up when he says they’ll be there and gets right to work. On our yard projects they worked well into the evening and the whole team was polite, efficient, and professional. They have transformed our lot from what was a big mess into a beautiful yard. They constructed a new patio that is very well-designed and built a French drain in the back that works perfectly and exactly how he said it would. I was having some serious drainage issues on my property. Ricky addressed all of my concerns and came up with a beautiful landscape design (and addressed the drainage issues). He also removed a tree from my property and did an outstanding job. I called Ricky back to remove additional trees and remove the leaves from my yard. Ricky's team was top notch, professional, detail oriented and extremely hardworking. I will definitely be calling Ricky to come back for additional projects. He's the best and I highly recommend him and his team.

Ricky and his crew are amazing! I’ve had a lot of landscaping work done by them in the past and am always very satisfied. Recently, I had Ricky create a new flagstone patio, redo my basement stairwell wall in flagstone, and redo my front walkway in flagstone. He and his crew did an amazing job. They’re very professional, take their time doing it right, and treat your house like their own. My yard was cleaned up every day after they left. The crew is very friendly and just very nice people. I can’t say more good things about them.

Couldn't have been better! Ricky is easy to work with and is capable of any exterior modification, hardscaping, and landscaping. He is very creative and sticks to a budget while providing new and exciting ideas. He does not push sales or services but wants to keep the customer happy.

Ricky and his crew have done several projects for me and I feel so lucky that I found them and he was nice enough to make time to do the work. I had him lay mulch around the whole house, get rid of some large bushes a dead tree and tackle re-landscaping of my beautiful back yard after removing some old pickle barrels filled with annuals that had been there for 30 years. Within two weeks I had new grass in the large eight foot areas removed and it looks beautiful again. My most recent request was to help me create a sustainable vegetable garden during this COVID time of sheltering in place. He created an amazing 14' x 10' garden and even planted all of my vegetable plants. Everything looks fantastic, and the new garden is already producing food to eat. It was all done at a reasonable price, with the hardest working and kindest crew I have ever had the good fortune to have work on my house. I highly recommend this company! Ricky's Lawn and Landscaping did an amazing job with our backyard. We asked them to replace our rock walkways with pavers that matched our patio and they were able to make it look like that's how it was designed. They also finished a retaining wall that wasn't complete and it turned out great. I highly recommend Ricky's Lawn and Landscaping and would certainly hire them again. Great price, on time and amazing work.

Ricky provided mowing and edging for me for 8 years. Originally, I relied upon him for mowing and edging a large tree-filled lot in my Springfield home. For the past 5 years, he has, also, provided regular gardener services, has removed 8 dead trees and ground out stumps, provides winter clean up to include removing mountains of leaves, spring cleanup of flower beds and lawn, spring mulching, shrub pruning, and sprinkler system maintenance. Recently, he redesigned my back yard and reworked the flagstone around my flower beds. My yard always looks fantastic. Ricky and his crew are always professional and very courteous, and conscientious. I depend upon him to provide excellent services at reasonable prices.

As a first time user we cannot speak highly enough of the service recently provided by Ricky's Landscaping. Ricky's competent crews did a superb job of clearing a difficult large area of invasive Japanese Stiltgrass, cutting back and trimming an overgrown privacy hedge, and lawn repair/sodding. We found Rick to be extremely knowledgable, very accommodating in scheduling work, and most pleasant to deal with. He was there to supervise when needed and personally ensured that the work was completed to our total satisfaction, which it surpassed.

Ricky’s service was top-notch! They built me a fence and arbor from scratch and it is perfect! Not only that, they did lots of tree and bush trimming, mulching, and cleanup and it is the best work I’ve ever seen in this area. My last contractors were more expensive and didn’t do nearly as good. I will definitely be using Ricky again!

Ricky and his crew redid the landscaping in the front of our house. They took the scribbles and sketches that I had drawn and created something even more beautiful than I had imagined! Ricky and his crew did a fantastic job on our front yard from beginning to end. He responded quickly to my request for a quote. When he came to do the estimate, he was knowledgeable about different types of plants and trees and gave great advice about how to reshape our garden and where to sod. His estimate was in the middle of various estimates we had already gotten so I felt he was giving us a fair deal. He was also one of the few to take the effort to give us an accurate estimate by measuring the space for the sod. Most of the other estimates we got only involved a quick look and quote for purging (clearing the land) with a vague promise to estimate the sod and mulch later. He was accommodating to our schedule in starting the work, and unlike other work crews we have hired before, Ricky actually came himself so he could relay what we agreed on and he stayed on to work and lead his crew. The work was excellent -- fast, efficient, and conscientious. They did the job just as we agreed -- he even generously threw in some free planting work for us -- and used good quality materials. Finally, Ricky and his crew were easy to work with: nice, professional people. We can't say enough positive things about this outfit and have gotten many compliments on our yard from our neighbors.

We had several companies give us estimates for our walkway and knew instantly that Ricky was the right choice. He had several ideas to improve our project and suggested insightful but not costly enhancements to our vision. We were so impressed with his work that we asked him to replace our natural stone garden beds with dry-stacking. We are looking forward to having him back in the spring to work in the backyard. I had him remove some shrubs that got in the way of opening our car door in the driveway, get rid of some large bushes out back, trim a tree that was growing close to our deck, and replace the mulch. Ricky's Lawn and Landscaping has been taking care of my property for several years. Not only does my lawn look better than it had with other, prominent companies but Ricky is fast to respond to my requests and he and his crew have always been dependable. Communication is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. Ricky and his crew have also created a brick walkway, a brick patio, a double-wide cement driveway, a retaining wall. and several foundation beds enclosed in pressure-treated lumber. They have also planted shrubbery for me including twenty azaleas to "screen" a retaining wall, and each Fall they rake my yard as often as necessary to keep it looking great. This is no small task since my property abuts heavily wooded parkland! Mulch is spread annually to protect my investment in shrubbery and foundation plants. I strongly recommend Ricky's Lawn and Landscaping for any lawn care need or hardscaping project. I wouldn't want any other company taking care of my property.
